International Women's Month and People with Disabilities Awareness Month
Inclusive - Leadership Education and Advocacy for Diversity (I-LEAD)

Established in 1911 as part of the Women's Suffrage movement, International Women's Month has been expanded from one day, to one week, and not to the full month and has been adopted by an international community to celebrate the contributions of women and to promote equality and advancement of women’s' civil rights.
Originally established as 'National Developmental Disabilities Month' by then President Ronald Regan in 1987, March has become a time of commemoration and recognition of people with any disability.
