2025 OU Online Conference

Dear Colleagues,

We’re excited to announce that early registration and call for proposals are now open for the 2025 OU Online Conference, scheduled for October 14, 2025, at the Oklahoma Memorial Union in Norman, OK.

As online education continues to grow in scale and significance, this conference offers both a launchpad for those new to online learning and a rich professional development experience for seasoned practitioners. Join us as we share strategies, inspire innovation and learn from others who are shaping the future of online education.

We encourage all deans and leaders, online program directors and staff, and faculty from all campuses to attend, even if you’ve never taught an online course before. We will offer sessions designed specifically for those new to online teaching. 

This registration is for in-person attendance. Registration for online elements will be forthcoming. 


Call for Proposals

We invite proposals that expand OU’s reach through innovative online programs and high-quality virtual learning pathways.

We are especially interested in sessions that explore:

  • Designing and launching new online programs
  • Incorporating AI and emerging technologies into teaching and learning
  • Building and sustaining healthcare or professionally accredited programs online
  • Designing online degree programs to address workforce needs
  • Innovative course and program design that supports high engagement, learning outcomes and career success

Please ensure your proposal includes the following information:

  • Title of your presentation
  • Brief overview (up to 50 words)
  • Abstract (up to 300 words)
  • Presenter(s) name, title and affiliation
  • Intended audience
  • Contact information
  • Accommodations needed
