Faculty Leadership Program Schedule

The Faculty Leadership Program is conducted as a series of integrated seminars, one-on-one meetings for academic career goal setting, peer-mentoring, feedforward planning, applied practice, and feedback. The 100 continuing professional development hours include on- and off-site engagement with the class of Leadership Faculty Fellows from OU Health Sciences colleges. There are approximately 14 program days during the 10-month program. The time commitment is about 5% work effort for typical academic health professionals or biomedical sciences faculty members. Participation in all scheduled program elements is expected.

  • October - April: One-on-One Career and Research Project Peer-Mentoring (5-8 individual meetings over 7 months)

  • June Session 2: Certificate and Graduation Program and Reception with remarks from graduates (guests invited)
  • June 23: End of program debrief and evaluation. Digital survey submission (virtual)
