The STEP Foundations for Clinical Teaching course will offer an evidence-based series of learning modules to introduce, refresh, or renew your foundations for clinical teaching, instructional design, and learner assessment. STEP Foundations includes Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude (KSA) building resources from the scholarship of teaching and learning literature.
When you complete all 15 modules and assignments, you will have the fundamentals for evidence-based in-clinic teaching at your fingertips for application in your clinical teaching practice.
As a bonus, participants completing all 15 modules of STEP and attending all of the synchronous discussion sessions can earn the Foundations for Clinical Teaching Certificate of Completion and receive an invitation to join the OUHSC Educators for Excellence Community of Practice.
The Foundations for Clinical Teaching course is currently scheduled to begin with a Pilot Cohort in January 2024.
